High School Debate

Wayne State University has historically been a strong supporter of high school debate in the Detroit metropolitan area and the state of Michigan. By hosting various debate clinics and workshops, tournaments and summer institutes, WSU helps provide high school students and coaches with debate skills and experience. Most recently, Wayne State has provided leadership to the Detroit Urban Debate League, bringing debate experiences to the Detroit Public Schools via a generous grant from the Open Society Institute.
